It was a very competitive Forsyth Tournament….
- Smallest School won it all… Walnut Grove (81 students 9-12) was everything they were advertised to be.
- Forsyth is pretty dang good.. and if they continue to develop help for Rocha they will be really dangerous.
- Hollister is a scrappy bunch… think they have developed a little of the personality of Coach Pete Leonard. (thats a good thing)
- I think playing football has helped Logen Plumb on the basketball court… He is a guy that has the ability to take a game over.
- School of the Ozarks, no doubt, misses the guys that graduated. But the drop off is not as much as you would think.
- Seeds 2-7 was about as balanced as you will see in an early season tournament.
- When Joel Gertson is at his best, no player runs his team better.
- Derek Morris is going to put up some huge numbers.
- Dito for Micaiah Rocha
- As usual a wonderful way to start the high school basketball season.
