Basketball Classifications and Districts Released

The Missouri State High School Activities Association has released this years Basketball Classifications and District Lineups… And, really there is not a whole lot of change for our area teams.

Yes, Blue Eye and S of O, you are still in the same district as Greenwood.  Branson could see Kickapoo at District Time. And, they have separated Ozark and Nixa again.   Hollister and Forsyth are still together.  And the district that Reeds Spring calls home is still loaded.

5 Branson Athletes Sign NLI

Wednesday was a big day at Branson High School.  Five seniors made their college choices official, signing National Letters of Intent.

Alexis Hawkins will play Volleyball at Bluefield.  Chance Mobley will go to North Ark to play Baseball.  Savanah Miller is headed to Crowder College to continue her softball career.  Grace Dean has chosen Hendrix College, where she will play indoor and beach volleyball and Syracuse University officially secured the skills of Priscilla Williams.

Reeds Spring Battery Tabbed All-State

The Missouri Softball Coaches Association has released its All-State Teams for this season and the Reeds Spring Battery Mates of Izzy Erickson and Maddison Cantrell have both been named to the first team.

The senior duo were simply amazing, their whole careers, but especially this past season.  They led the Lady Wolves to a district runner-up finish.

All Big 8 East Football Team..

The All-Big 8 East Football Team has been announced.    Some Wolves and Tigers have earned honors.

Colton Cramblett is 1st team on both sides of the ball.  The Running Back/Linebacker was huge part of the Reeds Spring season.  He is joined by a couple of Wolves on the 1st team.  Tony Leal at DT and Matt Allison at DB.

Reveiver Konner Hatfield, along with Kicker Clay Humbyrd, and punter Layton Morgan made the first team for Hollister.

Cramblett appears on the second team as a punter and he is joined by Freshman DE Caden Wiest.   Hollister is represented on the second team by AJ Narvaez, Kelby Gard, and Konner Hatfield
