District Assignments Released…

The Missouri State High School Activities Association released Class and District assignments this morning for most fall sports.

In football there were no real surprises.  Reeds Spring and Hollister remain in the same district.  The only change is that Monett has dropped back down to Class 3 and they replace Clinton.  So, Reeds Spring, Hollister, Aurora, Monett, Mt Vernon, Seneca, Nevada, and Cassville make up Class 3 District 6.

Branson remains Class 5.  They are joined in their district by Carthage, Ozark, Nixa, and Republic

Forsyth is in a really tough Class 2 District.  Joining the Panthers, are Ava, East Newton, Houston, Mt View Liberty, Mountain Grove, Strafford, and Willow Springs.

It was thought that Branson Soccer had a shot to moved down a class, but that did not happen.  The Pirates are joined by Ozark, Nixa, and Republic

In Softball Reeds Spring is in a group with Hillcrest, West Plains, Rogersville, and Marshfield.

Branson’s softball girls are in a district with Glendale, Kickapoo, Parkview, Ozark, and Nixa

And finally Volleyball.  School of the Ozarks and Blue Eye are in the same Class 1 District.  They are joined by Billings, Crane, Galena, and Hurley

Forsyth is Class 2 They are joined by Clever, Fair Grove, New Covenant, Sparta, Spokane, and Strafford

Reeds Spring and Hollister will be in the Class 3 District 11 Tournament along with: Aurora, Cassville, Monett, Mt Vernon, and Seneca

Cross Country districts will be released in a couple of weeks…
