After spending the past six seasons as the head football coach of the Springfield Catholic Fightin’ Irish, Steve Hancock is returning to the school that he put on the Football Map.
Friday Night Branson Football announced via social media that Hancock will return to the Pirates and serve as an offensive assistant coach.
Hancock spent 27 years as the head coach of the Pirates, taking them to two State Championship games. Along the way, he earned himself a spot in the Missouri Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
Hancock won his 300th game as the Coach of the Irish.
