A look at the MSHSAA website revealed the the schedule for the Forsyth Panthers first Varsity Football Season has been released. The Panthers will compete on a full time basis at the Varsity Level for the first time in 2017. Although they will not be eligible for post season play this upcoming season, they will play an eight game schedule.
The season will start with a Saturday Contest in Kansas City against Northeast. After three straight road games they will play first first home game on September 8th against Diamond.
As an independent, coming in mid-cycle they have to travel a little more this opening year than they will in future seasons. Starting in 2018 the school will compete in the Mid-Lakes Conference for Football Only.

Forsyth will compete in its first varsity schedule since 1942, when football was terminated due to WWII. My father and his twin brother were in the team
