A familiar face will be on the bench when the girls basketball season tips next year at Reeds Spring. Yes, a new hire has been made but its one that has Reeds Spring ties.
Last Night the Reeds Spring Board of Education approved the hiring of Jessica McNichols to lead the program. Nichols has served the last three years as the head coach at Lockwood High School. She was also the schools Athletic Director. But, before heading to Lockwood, McNichols was an assistant at Reeds Spring. Only leaving the District in order to pursue the opportunity to be a Head Coach. Now she has gained that experience and is back.
McNichols is an Evangel graduate. She will teach girls PE at the high school.
She will take over for Leslie Reeves-Eakins who is still in the district but stepped down from her coaching duties at the end of this season.
